BETH ANN SCHROEDER, Advanced Yoga Teacher, is a professionally trained classical singer, who has re-discovered her voice through the practice of devotional music and chanting after a 10 year departure from performing. In 2005, she began studying yoga and mantra recitation with her teacher, Raji Thron, and the healing affects of chanting changed her life and the way she would use her voice going forward.

For the past 5 years, Beth Ann has been studying all forms of mantra practice, from the Vedic, Hindu, Buddhist and Sikh traditions. She most recently graduated from “Kirtan College”, with David Newman. Her performances are dedicated to David, Raji, and all the teachers who have helped to transform her life, heal her heart, and guide her on the path towards healing others through the sacred sounds of chanting.

TARA LINDSEY, is a writer, musician, photographer, LGBT advocate, creator of The Idirlion Project and the director of Starseed’s Shamanic program.

In only two years as a kirtan artist (after thirty-one years in music) Tara has established a monthly residency at Karuna Shala in Glen Ridge NJ (with Ricardo DaCosta), has played the Yoga By The Sea festival in Asbury Park NJ (with Lisa Brodrick) and has performed regularly with Bhagavan Das, appearing with him in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New England and at Jivamukti & Dharma Yoga Center in New York City.

Her many areas of interest / study include magick, string theory, 19th century European art, computer science, and the stories, songs and language of her Irish ancestors. She is deeply grateful for her years of apprenticeship with Dr. Jason Martin, which set her upon the shamanic path.
